Psychosocial Perspectives in HIV/AIDS—

Important Details:

  • By submitting an abstract for consideration, the presenting author must also intend to register for the conference
  • Abstracts must be presented in English only and must not have been presented or published previously
  • When submitting your abstract all authors agree to release the licence to the conference organisers and give permission to them to publish the abstract in the conference handbook, on the Education and Resource Centre website and in any conference related media and print publications.

You will be notified in mid April if your abstract has been accepted for the workshop.  If your abstract is accepted there will be no registration fee charged for the workshop.

What we are looking for:

The conference organisers are keen to see some of the following qualities in the proposed presentations for the Conference:

  • Interactive presentations that encourage audience participation
  • Provision of take-home resources for those attending
  • Collaborative workshops involving a number of organisations, service providers and/or agencies
  • Innovative styles of presenting information including workshops, panel discussions, poster presentations, small group work and other formats such as hypotheticals and video/DVD.

(Surname of author(s) to appear first, followed by initials of first and middle names, do not use full stops or commas between the surname and 1st names.
E.g. Smith JM. Brown K, Omit degrees and titles, Principal author’s name to appear first, Asterisk to be placed before presenting author/s names)

(Formal research work should list the objective of the study, method, results and discussion.
Project based work should detail the issues, a description of the project and a summary of the outcomes or findings from the Project)
